About Morgan's

Established in 2019

Morgan's Butchery was founded by Matthew Morgan who had worked in the butchery Trade for over 10 years. He decided to open the Butchery back in 2018 and just over 2 years into the business he has developed a strong following and gained fantastic support from local customers.


Morgan's Butchery is now run by Miles Nicholas, former President of Cambridge and District Master Butchers Association. Miles has over 40 years experience in the industry and has managed many successful businesses around the county.


Morgan's Butchery deals directly with local farmers and suppliers to make sure that the produce is of the best quality. We are a traditional Butchers shop and butcher all of our meat in house.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Being a small Butchery, we can focus on our main values as butchers. 

  • Local produce, for example our fabulous selection of British Game from Baythorne Hall itself. 
  • High Welfare, for example our Bronze Turkeys from Bury St Edmunds who we visit on a yearly basis to make sure that we are happy with how the Turkeys are bred and cared for. 
  • Lastly, High Quality, sourcing our meats from the best suppliers available, such as Fowlers, Diaper Poultry and The Fruit Pig Company. Using Farmers and other small businesses with the same values as us.
